The Chembur Gymkhana is primarily a Sports Club wherein most of the Sports facilities such as Badminton, Billiards, Cricket, Carrom and Chess, Gym & Health, Karaoke, Lawn Tennis, Table Tennis, Squash, Swimming etc. are maintained and available for its members.
The Gymkhana is situated on a piece and parcel of land, partially provided by Mumbai Suburban District Collectorate on long lease and some portion of the land (at Phase-II building) is owned by the Gymkhana.
Our Gymkhana is Registered Under Societies Registration Act. 1860 Reg.No.BOM. 199/74 G.B.B.S.D OF 26-7-74 & Bombay Public Trust Act. 1950 Reg. No. F 3538 of 27-2-75 and in operational since 1947.
We have about 5000 members belonging to different categories of the memberships such as Life Members, Donor Members, Corporate Members, Associate Members, Conversion Donor Members, Service Members, Spouse Members, Honorary Members, Senior Citizen Members etc. All the details of the members are confidential and such data are exclusively for the purpose of our Gymkhana and not to be used by any other agencies. The Gymkhana also has Memorandum and Rules & Regulations duly certified by the Charity Commissioner and such rules and regulations are only applicable to be uploaded to The Chembur Gymkhana website and not to any other organizations, individuals or any other websites.
Consent – Using our Gymkhana website implies to give our consent to collect and use our personal information as specified below in accordance with our privacy policy. Should we choose to change our policy for any reason, the changes will be uploaded to our website, the same is available for our members to view as a personal information.
You may provide data with regard to tournaments and rankings which may be published on the Internet.
